Arrived at BIB 11 am. Wind so light that I wasn't sure the 7.5 was going to "do the trick", but it did. This is the first time I used a really long weed fin that Bob gave me for the Seatrend. At first, it was up and down, but I was jumping up on a plane 50% of the time. Used the light wind to practice short board tacks. Patience paid off - within a couple of hours, 16 mph was the average and PERFECT for the 7.5 - absolutely ripping around AND making most of my jibes (Fun, fun, fun). Just pulled the adjustable outhaul to stay on the 7.5 as the wind built to 21 mph. REALLY FUN SAILING. Went home at 5:30pm, after 5 hours of sailing, but it was still blowing good when I left BIB. | ||
