Good inital forecast turned almost into a skunk. Very marginal conditions at the Hatch when looking at the sailors on the water. I was worried I might not  be able to waterstart. B&L suggested I borrow their 5.7m2, but here since you do not need to work it upwind, I chose to stick with my 5.3m2. I used 1 cm less outhaul. The flatter water with the occasional gust got me going well on the Skate. It was pretty nice, really. I felt I was almost planing as early as Brian. I was pretty happy with the 5.3m2 today. I will miss B&L and The Gorge. I hope it really fires for Mike when he gets here. Good to see Bill and Vero again too.
