I finally signed up for iwindsurf.com (their Texas sensors just went off the 'free, testing' stage). So, I log on and check out the windspeeds at 'Laguna Shores' -- consistent 15, gusting to 20! Woohoo. I'm at a good spot to stop work, so I take a drive to BIB again. It's blowing, but only about 10, gusting to 9. Every once in awhile it seems like it's building, so I rig my "big" sail and head out. I never come close to planing and just end up slogging around. I'm starting to get bummed. This place was HONKING for the first three weeks I lived here, and now I'm started to get the "Montana Skunk" smell again. I just spent every penny I had, left my homestate of 29 years for THIS?

1... 2... 3... 4... 5... Deep Breath. Relax. Well, this IS the low-wind time of the year. We are getting much needed rain. Hopefully I'll get a good 5.6 day soon and all will be well in the world again.
