072 - Only thing close to a forecast in and for awhile and it was just a tease except for the biggest sails, and this was the peak of the day. Ran out to SI#1 back to the Horseshoe Spoil and into the North Basin past the big dune and continued north along the shoreline. Just got a few longish planing runs here and there but gotta return in better wind because that north shoreline flatwater is awsome with only 2-3 foot dune lin for miles . The return was along the drop-off and through the no boat cut mostly slogging until past SI#2 and across the IWC just below SI#3. It was difficult to make it back upwind of SI#2, went down once before making it then again between SI#1 and the shoreline, both deep water starts took awhile, finally making it back to the start. Too many holes, gusts too small and too much work for no play. | ||
