065 - Refreshing with cooler water and clouds and sail from the shore depth water. With a little more east and consistent wind inside you could have sailed without going past the drop-off. First out BAF to the concrete marker between SI#1 and SI#2 with good power on the outside. It was deep enough to sail across the sandbar between the spoils and the weeds were minimal. Second time out was to the KRS, back to SI#3 then BAF between SI#3 and the KRS with Roper. Quite a few weeds but a great tack for crusiing behind the South Cabin spoils where it was fast and flat. Could have high fived the pier end at the middle cabin both ways each round trip. It was also pretty good in the IWC between the high marker and SI#3 and back to SI#2 but the holes inside after Lookout Point were frustrating. Big plus for the bonus day, minus for direction, holes and operator error. | ||
