 Hurricane Alex!

Three of us (me, Jason, Jerry) sailed the seawall. Chest high near shore to well over head the further you got offshore...so the waves themselves were not enormous, but the powerful surf, extremely high tide, and an extremely strong current made things challenging. Tons of weeds. Wind variable as patches of sun and squall moved through. Much tamer conditions (and sloppier surf) so far than conditions preceding Dolly two years ago. Weeds were a real pain--coming in to change fins is not fun in over head high shore break and inconsistent wind. I never made it back through after the fin change.
