032 - At least it didn't rain but it never really kicked in either. Runs to the Horseshoe Spoil had holes, light gusts, flat water and traffic. Water level and wind direction were right for going into the North Basin. First tack was to IWC#107 and the spoil with all the tall trees then a few trips BAF between the spoils on each side of the IWC. Planing was much more consistent with medium power and after a trip back to the big dune started working upwind between PINS and the IWC ending at the last spoil with trees and out of sight of the big dune. It looked pretty shallow in several places but the fin only slightly scraped botton once. One more tack and would have crossed around the Pure Oil Channel to the mainland. Decided to make one long run back instead and didn't stop planing except between the No Boat cut-off and the launch. Would like to have GPS tracks for this one because it was the longest northward adventure.
