Second time I've gone to Huntington and just missed the wind and got skunked.  Wind was probably in the low 20s when I showed up, but by the time I had my 12 pumped up it had significantly dropped and switched to directly onshore.  There was also overhead shorebreaker surf.  So I tried to go out and just had a shorebreaker wave crush me, and I was kind of done after that.  This happened to pretty much everyone who tried to go out.  I should have gone north where the beaches are angled differently, but there was traffic and I just wanted to get to the closest beach.  Oh well.
