The 42mph forecast was an april fool, but no joke, 25mph is still a darn good day. On the same sail as yesterday but sailing at its lowest range, whereas yesterday i was at the top of its range. Highlight of today was my best ever jump jibe/wave combo! you know how something just feels SO RIGHT when you hit it right on.....well that's what happened. I need to figure out what I did, but my feet were pretty far apart on the board, and my back foot was way back on the tail, so i was able to really slash into the early part of the turn, then control it to the point where i hit the sweet spot, shifted me weight toward the nose on my way forward foot, and power into a plane down the wave face. So i think maybe a wide stance is the answer (at least if you're not Larry Craig). Again tomorrow? bring it on!!!!! | ||
