First time at sunset beach in years!  I stopped riding there because there were too many hotheaded kiteboarders who took pleasure out of yelling everyone and driving people away.  Those guys are gone.  Winds were pretty good for about an hour, then dropped a bit but were still rideable (for me at least).  As the winds became too light, my dad offered to pick me up in huntington so I did a 5 mile downwinder there.  I didn't realize it at the time though, but the northernmost beach in huntington is a dog beach and in between that beach and the main beach with the pier is a huge cliffline with zero beach and only boulders touching the water.  I should have come in at the dog beach because the winds were quickly dropping and I was close to getting stuck next to the cliffside.  Luckily I made it all the way to the other end though. Phew!

Attempted a few unhooked raleys with the kite less than 30 degrees of the water, but they are hard!  I'm rusty.  But I gotta work on those.  One good thing about using big kites is that they turn so slow - they'll stay in one place much better than the small ones.
