 The winds picked up nicely in the afternoon. The water is gorgeous. I saw some of the top freestylers pull off sic tricks just 25 feet away from me. The wind was not that good, so I can't wait to see what they pull off tomorrow.

I saw Andy B. on the water, and waved to his windsurfing girlfriend. He is the same great guy, and unsolicited gave me some help with my vulcan attempts. I smashed my foot between the mast and board on a stupid tack that I got backwinded from. Just got a nasty bruise. I got hit in the head with the mast pretty hard once too on a vulcan attempt. Scary, but I remembered Brian going through something like that before.

Evan did pretty well. Not sure how successful this trip will be, but if it doesn't work out, I can say I tried.
