006 - Just about as forecast but lot's of holes, lulls and finally a big mid-day drop as the clouds moved in. At first it was OK outside but light on the inside BAF to SI#1 and SI#2 mostly planing not always powered. Later went across the IWC at SI#2 to the KRS well below the South Cabins. Much more consistent and powered made a couple of tacks to make it to SI#3 and tried the IWC BAF to the South Cabins. The return run was disappointing as the wind started dropping, fell in three big holes and slogged back on the sandbar. Big difference in wind speed vs. power as the Gulf side is still too cold and the island too wet for the wind to have any surface power. Big cold one tomorrow? | ||
