First day of the year, and a good one. Started with the 6.2 as the wind was about 19 knots and it stayed that way. Nice quite consistent winds. After a while the wind really picked up, so much that the 6.2 wasn't fun anymore. So went back and got the 5.2 and my 80 litre board, but clearly the extra kilos I've put on were too much. And there wasn't that much wind. So I put the 5.2 on the 99 litre, and that went better. Unfortunately the wind became quite inconsistent after that. Periods with nothing, and then a nice gust. Got some good jibes, and some nice jumps. About 7 other people out there, so pretty busy. | ||
