Beautiful day, headed to Bird in late morning. I arrived to rig with a few others that had just arrived. I put up my 6.6 and when I first went out it was crazy over-powered. Just plain too much, so I decided to rig my 5.4. Just about the time I went out on that, it died to perfect 6.6. I stayed and fought for awhile, but eventually came in for the 6.6 and my 15.5" Curtis weed fin. It was okay, but a little light and hard to stay planing.

I came home very frustrated, as I don't feel like I'm improving lately. Part of it is the new board, and part is the iffy wind lately, but it's frustrating. All I think about when I have down-time is windsurfing. I'm hoping the spring brings more frequent wind.
