Good to be back at Bird after a long hiatus. Also good to do some LWF. I tried some new combos and also worked a little on Andy's light wind jibe # 4 (the one that initiates similar to a duck tack). It's frustrating to me that in '07 i had semi-gotten that move, was making it 50% on each side, and somehow I've completely forgotten. just means I need to practice more. Brian brought his Trance for me, which it turns out I think I'm buying although at first I didnt know I wanted it (well it's in my posession at the moment at least, so that is the plan). I'm hoping I can practice with it more and learn how it can help me, because I remember that after ABK I was convinced a bigger board would help. It did help me plane in very marginal conditions today.....reminded me of the days when i was a beginner and I could plane in next to nothing, to the annoyance of many with newer gear. Well it was due to the big board!
