Sail: '08 7m Rebel
Suit: Shorty

Started out really strong for the first 20 min or so and I wished I had set up my 5, but then it dropped off significantly so I was glad I went with my gut on the 7m.  I'm also getting used to my waist harness, I think it does help me in flexibility.  I also like having my hook be higher up on my body because it is easier/quicker to hook in and out.

The winds were super gusty, but it was all right.  In the lulls I focused on my handle passes and in the gusts I either did my typical unhooked rolls or raleys or something else.  I feel like I am improving on my handle passes, I still didn't get them in the air but I am much more comfortable releasing my front hand while still in the air - a good precursor to getting the pass in the air!  I worked on them until I could barely hold the bar unhooked anymore.  Then the winds dropped off a bunch and I had some errands to run so I peaced out around 4.
