A promising forecast and pretty caught up at work, so I took a half day of vacation leave. I was over-powered on the 4.2 and the 78 ltr JP so T-Bob gave the sail some more downhaul and suggested the Clam Sandwich. When I switched to the Clam Sandwich, and the better tuned sail, everything clicked. T-Bob and I had a great session sailing from the launch to SI#1 together. Beautiful afternoon. Lots of windsurfers on the water. Parked next to Ralph and Gail from Colorado. Great to see them and all the other fun people who call Bird Island home during the Spring and Fall seasons. | ||
