Lots of wind predicted today, so we left early. Ulrich signed Greg in at MAC, but on getting there it was clear that he cannot sail his 133 Xantos - so he moved down to Ulrich's board and Ulrich down to my Supercross. Both of them were still hectically overpowered in the infamous Rietvlei chop. I had to watch for gusts, but were comfortable and could even manoeuvre. With Ulrich out of the water, I switched from the Syncro (on which I tried a 22cm fin for the first time) to the narrower Supercross and was then perfectly powered. Unfortunately I had to leave early to be at a braai in Durbanville.
