Great NE day. Launched at Monte's house. Bob, Crab, Richard & Alan were spotted. Never came off a plane because of light wind, just wrecks and a few bad jibes. Remarkably consistent.

It picked up right as I launched and I was overpowered for a bit. I stopped at an island, stepped on what might have been a stingray, but also might have been a flounder or something (didn't get stung...), then pulled more downhaul and outhaul. The sail felt about half as heavy. It was awesome. Good, strong consistent wind, ripping jibes and I got a few small chop hops... given the size of the ramps (almost not there at all) I was pretty happy. Hopefully I'll get a good Bay day soon and hit some big jumps. The shot of Dale Cook in Windsurfing Magazine this month (pg 61) was inspiring. I'd love to reach that level some day. Probably just dreaming, though. ;-)
