What a great day! First good, windy day in a long, long time. I launched from Monte's house and worked my way up to the "playground" with Alan. Bob T. followed about 90 minutes later. Got a few small jumps, getting more comfortable. New harness line setup seamed to work out pretty well. I was never underpowered for more than a moment, never had trouble planing, Wardog Weed/Wave (12") cut upwind very well, never was too much, no weed problems (weeds were light for the Laguna, though). I roared back from the Playground in about 12 minutes, one long starboard reach, then a shaky jibe and a shorter port reach. I was flying! Locked in, going deep DEEP off the wind. It was pretty cool. | ||
