When the wind picked up, I switched down to smaller kit and sailed a board that I have not used much -- my Naish Supercross. In fact I have never gybed this board before and now at Langebaan I did it for the first time. The tide also started to flow in against the wind and that created heavy chop. I felt much more comfortable with the Supercross and smaller sail and I think I might actually have been faster. I had no sail crontrol issues and could concentrate totally on board trim and picking the right line. | ||
