125- Finally a little wind and OK other than the big holes especially inside. First tack to SI#2 then it turned into an excursion back through the no boat cut and up to the big dunes in the boat ramp basin. Planing easy enough to take a long tack south down the IWC to the KRS below the South Cabins, Couldn't make it upwind of SI#2 so made several round trips on the IWC side along the spoils between SI #1 & #2 . Good flat water and fairly consistent power made it the spot of the day, The return tack was from the South Cabins still planing easily until the dropoff at Lookout Point then very light and slow return. Short second session to SI#1 with just some off/on planing as dark cloud line moved through. Glad to have voted early, hope that cloud squashing the wind isn't a sign of tonites election results. | ||
