 I was having a nice session on the lake pretty much by myself, but I was wishing my friends were able to join me. I was experimenting with different fins in my new board to try to improve my upwind performance. Then @ 4p, I saw Laura on the water (she brought with her a few nice gusts). Trying to catch up with her, I got sloppy coming out of a gybe and got pulled over the handlebars by an unexpected gust, and cracked the nose of my new board. Bummer. I quickly switched it out for my Cross 117, but I had to leave soon since I was back on call @5pm. I am glad she made it out there. It was too nice of a day to miss.
