Couple of kite guys were there when I arrived around 2:45pm - they seemed unsure if they were going out because the wind wasn't meeting their expectations.  They were talking about going to N. Beach.  I just kept rigging.  I figured a big fin with the 5.6 would work well and I was right.  First windsurfer on the water and only three windsurfers showed up all afternoon.  3 kites (including the doubters - who were apparently just as surprised as me that the conditions were much better than they appeared).  I was fully powered, not overpowered and smiling the whole time.  Nice rollers - no breakers.  My most comfortable session ever on the Bay.  Time on the water 2 hrs.     Max Speed:  23.3 mph            Distance windsurfed:  25 miles     2008-miles-to-date: 523
