I am loving my new big fin, a 17.5 inch Finworks Tuttle weed. With my 7.8 on the Allstar 70, it's a dream in light wind. The wind was about 10, gusting to 16 or 17, but the sail and board and fin really handled it well. I'd get on a plane and really just stay moving, even in some big time lulls. I underestimated what a good fin will do, especially a good fin of the right size. Now I know!

I was at Bird and people are beginning to come sailing again. It's been really nice this week, though the wind has been light. The big months of March, April and May are coming up soon, and I'm psyched! Sailed with Trucker Bob, John and few out-of-towners from Canada I didn't know. Murph rigged up but didn't sail and Bill from Austin showed up late and didn't sail.
