Big sail this time.  I was thinking 7.8 all the way, but when I pulled up, it looked like 6.6 for sure, but I did 7.8 anyway since I didn't have a ton of time to sail and figured that if I was overpowered I'd just know that what I saw was too much and derig and go.  Instead I had the greatest sess.  The Infinity 7.8 (2002 model) feel so small when you are just sailing along.  No major handling problems.  You only notice it on the jibe.  It just doesn't kill you at all.  Nice tug out of the gate, and when you hit whatever topend you want to end up at, it shuts off, too.  It was relatively choppy (for a 7.8, which I've never used on the bay before), so I didn't want the blaze too much.  But, I had a surprising amount of fun.  There are big enough moguls out there no matter the wind, so I was getting un-intentional air just fine.  It's going to be interesting when I get more comfortable because I think the 7.8 and the Aero 127 will be jumpable.  I won't be up there like Dale Cook or nothing, but you'll be able to tell I was jumping.

Fun day.  Lots of cabbage heads again, but they aren't more than just a nuisance.  I could do without them, but they aren't really a problem.  It's been a ridiculously good windsurfing season so far; makes up for last summer, for sure.
