I was frustrated today. I've been enjoying NB, but haven't had the greatest time windsurfing there... it's been other things that made it more fun. Today I rigged the 5.4, but it wasn't enough. I tweaked a bit and eventually got it working, but probably 10 more liters in a board or a bigger fin or both would have helped, too. At the end, I had a couple of decent runs and a couple of decent jibes and my arms weren't dead like in the past. I also concentrated, on port during those ending few runs, on just going balls out and that will help me next time. I was before just trying to pick and choose my way through the disorganized chop, but that just killed my plane, so this time I attacked it and that works a lot better. I hope to build on today and end up with regular kick-butt sessions. Otherwise, I'm taking up kiteboarding. Chris was there and having a blast again today.
