Took today off work and started a long weekend with a beach outing for the dogs - T-Bob, me, Pepper, Micki and Ringer. We had a great time playing chuckit ball with the dogs.
Really fun choppy conditions from the launch to SI#1 and equally fun flat conditions north of boat cut.
First time windsurfing since April 3rd. The wind was terrific. T-Bob in town for Memorial Weekend so we sailed together for a while. He showed me how to sail the area north past the boat cut and boat launch for some flat water runs. It's really neat up there and it wasn't hard to get back - which was one reason why I was leary of going there. Quite a few small jellyfish so I wore full lycra.
Today was a TEN and a great start to a long Memorial Weekend with T-Bob and the Bird Island gang.
