I had high hopes with the forecast of 18-24mph. I got half that. I went right after work, and only brought the Cross 117. Not enough wind to waterstart, so I had to uphaul it half submerged. It shlogged surprisingly well upwind, and that paid off for the few puffs I was able to pump the board on a plane. I could only stay on the plane for 3/4 of the gybe before the power in the sail died and the board sank. It was a formula day. I wish I had brought the C145. | ||
