Another great day with Annie on the water. Today was enough for me to plane a lot and Annie took the big Start we borrowed from Cline Street again. She was talking about wanting to go faster, so I was going to rig a bigger sail for her, but when we got there it was windy enough for the 3.5 and her desire for more speed.

She's worn out because she sailed in about 20 mph with a 3.5 and no harness. She did great again. Corpus Christi is so perfect for learning to windsurf. She's going to be better than I ever was in Montana by next year. Warm, windy, safe conditions, good equipment. It's pretty cool. And, she ASKED ME if she could come along today. She actually feels like she's intruding into some sort of Guy Time or something. It's fantastic having her along, and it was fun sailing with her today. The kids still haven't come around, but they'll be around windsurfing a lot more in the future if Mom takes it up like Dad has, so they'll either be bored on the beach or ripping on the water. They follow their mom a lot, so I think they'll soon show some interest. Annie is full of questions and I think she's really enjoying herself.

I had a good day sailing as well. I'm not big on the light wind sailing, but I hadn't been out for a few weeks, so it was good to be on the water. It was relaxing and enjoyable. Just what the doctor ordered.
