I went to the lake with my 10 year old son. He was motivated since I bought him a real O'Neill shorty wetsuit. He lasted about 45 minutes before he was tired and cold. It was gusty on/off. I was unable to get him off the 80' leash today.

I brought the SUP and sailed it with and without the center fin again. It was fine both ways. I got it powered briefly with the center fin. That was a trip. A couple of back and forth, and then de-rig before Evan got too bored.

I hope he still wants to try soon. We will see.
