I went with the Wolff-man to Zeekoevlei on an uncertain forecast. We launched through the reeds downwind from UCT yacht club.

Most of the time I had to work hard to get onto the plane, but had a couple of good planing runs. We were actually a bit late in leaving the office, so the cloud started moving in from the sea while we were on the water and with it the wind became much less constant.

So it was all a bit low on fun factor, but it was probably good for our sailing as mistakes were punished immediately. "Better than not having a sail," is what the Wolff said afterwards, but he was not in Elandsbay over the weekend - I would have preferred keeping last weekend's session as my last-sail-memory...
