Forecast this morning was for winds gusting to 25 mph so I left the little boards at home. The winds were more like 35mph when I arrived at Bird. Actually I'm glad I did because this was a do-or-die session for the 78 ltr JP and matched with the tiny 21 cm Surf fin (T-Bob gave me) and the 3.7 Hucker, I was having a blast. The first half hour was overpowered in the gusts but when it finally settled down a little, everything was working quite nicely. The wind backed off some around 2:45 so T-Bob gave me the 4.8 Hucker that he was sailing earlier and now wasn't enough for him but PERFECT for me to get in another fun session. Good ramps for some chop hopping. Spectacular Easter Day at Bird Island.
Tamay left me a message that she was going to Port A and I should join them but I was already on the water at Bird. I'll definitely try Port A someday.
