Despite the sub-par wind level, today was soooo worth it. I feel so at home out there. Still dealing with the broken board issue and actually have not put time into researching/shopping, so the lack of progress is my fault. So I was on my small board today and that contributed to my not planing as much as normal. But I had a real breakthrough anyway. I started rotating the board 180(jump jibe style) with complete abandon, zero fear, off a wave so there was actually some height, none of those sissy inches high jumps I was trying at bird. I'm not sure why I suddenly got over being afraid. Now the rest of my body needs to figure out how to rotate around over the board so I can actually sail away from something. Looks like there will be many days this spring to work on that. Tried one BL also but not enough speed.
