We did not think it was going to happen at the beach but the sky cleared and around 3:00 we noticed the wind comeing up and my cell started ringing!!!!
Rigged 4.7 really downhauled on my 70L. Waves and wind were building. There were some big ones on the outside and it was breaking far out. Sailed the 4.7 for quit awhile until I was getting tired from being overpowered. Came in and rigged down to 4.2 got 3 runs on that when I noticed the black sky (frontline) heading toward us. It Shut everything down and changed the wind direction to offshore. I was NOT ready for it to be over!
Lots of sailors out 2 kites until it got REAL windy. 3 or 4 surfers.
