Really it should be a 10. I finally broke through with my gybes today. I planed out of several of them, and it felt good. Real good. I have been working hard for a long time to plane out of my gybes. I have done it before, but not with any consistency. Even better, my friends noticed. That was nice.

Pleased with myself, I started to try duck gybes. I made one, but it was really ugly. The learning process never ends. I was getting overpowered and tired toward the end of the day. What would B&L do? So I re-rigged to my 5.7m2 and my RRD 110 FSW and went back out there. It was much better with this set-up, but the wind was continuing to build and really starting to crank. I stayed out until 5pm, and I was exhausted when I finished. Really tired, but a great tired.

That was a great day. I can't wait for the next.
