Started out on the 110 Sonic which worked quite nicely with the 4.8 Hucker. There were plenty of holes which the 110 carried me thru. I really wanted to sail the JP, so I went in and switched. For a while I was underpowered until I got about 1/2 way to Island #1 but then it was really good. Started on the 24 cm TA Surf Grass but changed to the 26 cm for more upwind control which was lacking when underpowered. The wind finally strengthened around 2:15 for mostly full planning runs between the launch and Island 1. Warm, windy and lots of windsurfers. Another fun day at Bird Island. | ||
