First windsurfing session of '08 for me. Just started feeling better after suffering with a mega-cold that struck the day after Christmas. The wind was inconsistent for a while so I took the 110 Sonic w/the 5.6 Hucker. I sailed that match-up with lots of nice runs for the first 31 miles between launch and SI #1. The wind finally filled in nicely after 3:15, so I switched the 5.6 to the 78 ltr JP and made several more really fun runs to island #1. I was jibing the JP much better than the Sonic today. Used my waist harness. Also moved the harness lines a little closer together (T-Bob's suggestion so I'll try it). Several windsurfers enjoying a sunny, warm and nicely breezy afternoon which made it a really fun day. | ||
