91st session in 2007
Sailed at Lowers, Maui
Wind from the NE (mph)
        lulls: 3
        average: 23
        gusts: 35
Rated a 5 of 10

Board: Goya Wave 075L
Sail: Goya 4.7
Suit: Exo Top & shorts

Started out at Uppers, and it wasn't bad, but E wanted to go low. Before I left to join her, I started trying to get my sail way down on the bottom turns like the good guys do.

Lowers was good for a while, then it stunk. Punchy and shifty, but this time with lulls thrown in (unlike yesterday.) I never got a groove and my arms never got a rest. Bailed from one massive high BL where the air time went on forever and i finally said to myself "Get this thing off/away from me!" as I frantically yet casually (because there was plenty of time) wiggled my way out of the straps.

Got stuck just off the beach with no wind for a few minutes. Almost got stuck in Weird Wave (which was breaking big) on the way back, even though it appeared to be well downwind of me. All of the sudden I was in it, but luckily I stayed upright and managed to shlog through it.

PSB: Big Swell IPA
PSG: Ahi Burger @ Paia Fish Market
