I got a surprise phone call @ 11am from my mother-in-law, asking if I wanted to bring the kids over and go windsurfing. Uh..Err..Yes? What a great gift. I got to the lake and it looked great. Only one other sailor, and he was rigging down from his 5.2m2. I still have not gotten my 6.2m2 yet, so I went 5.7m2/Cross 117. It was very good for a while, but the wind began to lighten up with holes. I was still having fun, but I was having to work to stay upwind most of the time. Eventually had to call it a day when I struggled to waterstart in one of the holes in the middle of the lake. I think the wind did pick up later, but I needed to get the kids. Pretty day, sunny, and cool. My finger tips were a little uncomfortable at times, but the water is still relatively warm.
