It is hard to believe that we got back to back weekends of major wind on the lake. Not only that, but it was sunny and still warm enough to really enjoy it. The chop was very port tack favored and very disorganized, the wind had some serious holes, but it was a great day. An awesome Christmas gift for me, as I got to sail my new little board again, and this time I got to sail the 5.3m2.

Alissa and Mike came up here which was a great surprise. It was great for me to see forward and spock attempts on our lake for the first time. That is the stuff I can imagine doing only in my dreams. We need to get Brian to start pulling them off soon now that he is a year more wise. He is starting to pull the trigger. Maybe soon for Laura? Perhaps a trip to Hawaii may inspire them.

It is unlikely that I will get in another session before the new year, but I am so glad to get a very good one at home with such good friends.
