The forecasts were so conflicting that I thought I had better get out to Bird Island early. I was on the water by noon and the sole windsurfer for an hour. A couple of Worldwinds beginners went out. Anyway, after such an unsettling experience in CC Bay yesterday, it was great to get back on the horse and have a great session. Made several runs past Spoil Island #3 and the wind was strongest south of Burke Point. Saw Robert McG on the beach but he didn't rig. Saw Mike Murphy go out about the time I had hit 50 miles and was heading in. After a fantastic windsurfing session I ran home, got the dogs and took them to Ward Island to walk the trail around the A&M campus. Nice way to wrap up a really great Monday. 3 hours on the water. AND... today I passed the 2,100 mile mark.
Interesting Stat: 30% of my windsurfing sessions are on a 110 ltr board.
14% of my sessions are with the 6.6 to 7.0 sail range - my 7.0 Retro was replaced with the 6.6 Hucker. (Both awesome sails and feel the same in regards to power).
