Turned out to be a gorgeous day. Lot of east in the southeasterly direction. First run I went outside spoil island #1 and shot as high as I could but the wind wasn't quite filled in and I ended up at the north end of Bird Island. Decided to stay on the Nat'l Seashore side of the spoil islands. I followed Mike Murphy & Randy Roper to the KR shore way past south cabins. We found the very best wind out there so the rest of the afternoon I made all my runs from Burke Point to the south cabins and had a blast, especially the bump and jump conditions in east bay. Could have used a little bigger fin to help with the upwindability but other than that, it was quite nice. 3 hrs 30 minutes on the water. | ||
