Sailed at Auckland, Coniver Grove
Rated a 8 of 10
Wind from the W (knots)
    lulls: 10
    average: 17
    gusts: 25

Board: Carbon Art Slalom FS 80 2008
Sail: NP Saber 6.2 2005, NP Saber 7.2 2005
Fin: Drake Freeride 280, Nik Baker 66
Suit: Short sleeve.

This time I brought both boards. Started with the Slalom board. Had a good time. First time I really nailed that driving the rail stuff when trying to jybe, really felt it. But unfortunately that was only one time, it's still black magic when trying to really carve. But just keep on trying.

What I find funny of this board is that it is fairly easy to jump, or hop actually in my case. Even though it's a slalom board of course.

After a while the wind became just too much, so I switched to the Carve. No really good jybes with this one this time. And no real good jumps either.

There was one more guy out, he usually sails at Clark Beach. Chatted with him afterwards a while and Clark Beach seems to be a place to try.
