The forecast looked bleak. T-Bob returned to town for a few days so Pepper & I picked him up at his truck and we all headed out to Bird with only big gear. Since I wanted to bring Pepper, I only loaded the Sonic 125 and 110 to leave plenty of room for Pepper in the van. Pepper was so happy to see her daddy! When we arrived at Bird it was breezy and Willoff pointed to Rita and said she was planning on a 6.5. So I rigged the 6.6 and jumped on the 125 and off I went. It was amazingly nice. I sailed that rig for 22 miles and the wind was building nicely so about 3:30 I switched boards and continued sailing till about 4:30 when the wind started to drop off. T-Bob was tired from traveling and he said he had fun playing with Pepper so he didn't windsurf. We sat at a shade structure with Pepper laying on the top of the table, sipped an after-sail-brew and watched the orange sun set on the horizon. It was a beautiful sunset. T-Bob coming home for a few day makes today a 10. Pepper joining us at Bird is a 10. And the windsurfing was a 10. Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
