Board: Carbon Art Slalom FS 80 2008
Sail: NP Saber 7.2 2005
Fin: Nik Baker 66
Suit: Short sleeve.
First time in short sleeve. With a light wind board, you don't have to wait in the water for wind of course, you can just pull up the sail. But the water was actually fairly warm I would say.
Took the light wind board, but it was pretty overpowering after a while. Got off the water after a tail walk which ended in a crash.
Not sure what the wind was, but couldn't pull the back hand in, so must have been well over the design size. Hadn't used the 7.2 in quit a while I believe.
So the conclusion is: always take everything. Would have been great on the Carve with 6.2 or even smaller perhaps.
