Stopped to check out SoPac on the way to Girl. Waves were much bigger there than at Port A, and much bigger than they were when we first checked out SoPac before going to Port A. Went to Girl anyway cuz we're wusses.
Tried a back loop on the first run out, and then several more. Sure, you're never going to get all of the way around and land it, but it's a REALLY fun way to clear the weeds from your fin. Mike thought my board was falling apart when he noticed a dark object flying away from the board. Turns out it was a weed clump.
I lost my ability to do mini shove-its. It's back to chop hops. Maybe it's the board?
10 because I never thought I'd be able to try BLs @ Bird.
Dropped Mike off at the Greyhound bus station where the rest of the adventure begins.
