The wind meter gave again good readings: 40 km/h said weather.com and the forecast was for 20 knots. So I went to Bucklands Beach. Very little wind. Wind was NW as well. So decided to drive to Point Chev. Little wind there as well. Some gusts. One guy was out on a 6.7 I believe and was planing sometimes.

Rigging is better than waiting so decided to rig and head out. Wasn't too bad initially, some gusts, but it didn't became better. Long periods of waiting between the gusts. The gusts were fairly ok, and some steep chop, had a nice jump from one of them.

Made two jibes, even in this choppy weather. One time got the mast on my ear and one on my head (not full power though), clearly not enough wind is a dangerous condition as well.
