Started with the 6.2 as the windmetre did show not too much wind. But the gusts were so strong that I immediately downrigged to the 5.2 after 1 run. That was better, but it was very gusty, so the average of 19 knots given above just doesn't do the situation justice.
Spend a lot of time subplaning, but the runs were nice. Was about to go out of the water when another strong gust came in, so had one more nice run. Did some jumping as well, probably more a hop, but all worked well.
And made quite a number of jibes with the 5.2, I think that's the first time I made jibes with this configuration so that felt quite good. Have to correct myself actually here. I'm now on an X6 mast, just as I have for the 6.2, so perhaps the mast made a big difference as well. Jibes were not really carving, quite choppy, but I'm glad I'm starting to jibe must more consistently.
