Started with the 5.2 but became pretty overpowered after half an hour or so, so went on the 4.7. And even that was too much after a while. Coniver Grove was wild, up to 2 feet high waves, amazing. Still trouble with pointing though. Went way too much upwind, but the wind shifted also a bit, so that might have played a role.

Perhaps would need a smaller fin, but when I went to the shop, they didn't really have a smaller fin for this board. But they had a $400 NZD Carbon Art wave board, just a little more than a new fin, so I bought that. Let's so how that works as with the conditions like today the Carve is just a bit too much.
